Very good and thought-provoking article by Zoe Williams in The Guardian on Saturday. Do we grow out of reading fiction as we get older? I'm not sure, but then I've always mixed up fiction and non-fiction pretty interchangably. As far as I'm concerned, good writing is good writing, and it doesn't matter if it's a novel or a biography or a popular science book. Anyway, she makes a good case for reading Whoops by John Lanchester. I suppose I'd better.
