Although I quite often give people books, I'm not really one for writing in them. Firstly my handwriting is terrible, and secondly I get freaked out by the fact that whatever I write is going to stay in that book forever. Wayne Gooderham has taken advantage of this, though, with his lovely blog bookdedications where he documents inscriptions that he finds in old books.
