Back from New York with jetlag, and a cold, I console myself with wrapping up my blackberry case in some amazing masking tape (have I previously mentioned my stationery obsession? I'm surprised it hasn't come up). I bought this in the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum bookshop – underwhelming museum, but really great bookshop. All kinds of good things to be found there.
But back to the masking tape – instead of the usual dull cream this comes in variety packs of five beautiful colours & varying widths. It's Japanese (no surprise) & made by the Kamoi Kakoshi Company. They're rightly proud of their masking tape, and have a website that tells you the whole backstory, if you're interested. I love that they say the project was driven by 'the demands of masking tape fans'. I think that might be me, now.
