Finally got around to seeing A Single Man. Lots to like, amazing performances, beautiful too look at, and amongst the many wonderful objects in the perfect house are some lovely books. This being Tom Ford land there were no tatty paperbacks in sight, only beautiful hardbacks with simple paper covers & elegant typography. And I loved the fact that one of the main character's happiest memories of his relationship was when he was just curled up on a sofa with his lover, each reading their own book. Looked pretty perfect to me.
